I want to comment on the most amusing coincidences as of late.
First, I had an unusual dream where I was to purchase and open my own store and its name was Solitude. I also found it amusing to see that Today’s Penny Arcade comic was titled Solitude.
Second, I had finished the Goodkind Series last week and have failed to comment on it correctly and was debating what to take up next. At Chapters I had decided to take up Ender’s Game et all… and behold before me was a new Ender book.
Third, I decided to play the lotto using… well no not that lucky… but the first two were at least enjoyable.

Another new direction for me at work, hopefully for the better but tomorrow still may bring more.
In the eventful world of Ottawa, we see 3.4B $ in write downs and 1300 layoffs today and you can’t help but get the feeling that the economy is gone to shit and wonder when its going to turn around.

Hopefully the rest of the day has rosier news.

Another month has flown by and I’ve continued my lackluster performance in regards to blogging. It should be a very interesting time to blog considering the actions both relative to my recent events and the world’s recent events.
First off I’d have to congradulate the Democrats for winning the election behind the first African-American President who I hope will have the most productive term of any President. He definately has alot to deal with and the world seems alot more nervous when the US is not stable. He is a skilled speaker and definately behaved as if he is capable of running the USA, I just hope its run well and to the betterment of Canada as well.
In personal news – I had the good fortunte of being a company representative while in New Jersey. Two very productive days at the Customer Site. I was unable to see anything in NJ except steal 1/2h to go to Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash.
From the Stash I scored a Xmas gift for Trevor, a signed autobio by Kevin Smith, a figurine for my collector’s cabinet, some t-shirts and a copy of Quiver. It makes up for missing Halloween in my books.
This weekend should be fun – trying to have people over to play Gears 2, and watch the MTL vs TOR hockey game.
