My desire to have a post title that satisfies multiple stories is once again satisfied.
As it stands there is 0:10 left in the 3rd period of the MTLvBOS game and the only goal is from the BREEZE himself. For those that don’t know Patrice Brisbois is often refered to as Breezebois…. think Redden 06 playoffs watching people glide by him and score goals. Looks like a shutout with a Breezer winning goal!
The second story is one that is more unfortunate. There was a large number of good players at the Beginners/Intermediate paintball game that Mona and I attended – now I classify myself as the midway point between those two distinctions with the goal of getting to intermediate and beyond soon – as Mona is just starting I had hoped this day would be the best to do alot of good learning. In the end though today was not a great day for learning as shots were zooming (Breezing) by me constantly – under the barrage of some actual sponsored team players with their high-end markers – I mean seeing I think 3 egos is a little disconcerning – I felt even worse for the 3 young (pre-16) teens that were there… they were getting mowed down constantly…. I think its a product of it being exam time and maybe Wednesday wasn’t a good day for people. It is possible they were just blowing off steam but it was definately not what Steve described from the previous week. I’d say there was more skill than the Intermediate/Advanced Wednesday I went to the previous week.
With the number of skill players and the fact that the hockey game was still on we left a bit early – we are going again next week to have hopefully a better learning experience – and maybe even a couple other times coming up that we weren’t planning to find the best times to practice and learn.
Finally thought – Mooseheads VS Olympiques… we bought tickets for the ONLY Halifax visit in January and skipped it but now it’s playoff Hockey and I get to go to games 4 & 5 with Mona… who can sport her personalized Mooseheads Jersey.
Go Moose, Go Habs, Go Sens (somehow?)
